FreeFarm Fest
A music and arts festival on a working Colorado homestead — where the stage shares ground with the swales, and the audience camps where the food grows.
What it is
The pasture, amplified.
For two years, the farm has opened its gates for a weekend of live music, art, and camp-out community, produced together with the friends at FreeForm Functions. It's the kind of festival where the distance between performer and audience is a guitar cable, and where breakfast comes with a view of the greenhouse that grew some of it.
FreeFarm Fest is the proof point for everything else on this site: sovereignty isn't isolation. A homestead that can host a festival is a homestead that's already a commons in training.
